The Green Belt / Black Belt 2+2 format is set as follows, the first two weeks are a combination of Black Belt and Green Belt candidates and the second two weeks are attended only by Black Belt candidates. This program has the added benefit of creating an environment where the Black Belts and Green Belts will begin a strong working relationship that will continue throughout your deployment.
We are very excited about this offering since it gives you many more options:
- If you have a few or even just one individual who you need to ramp-up very quickly this is the tool
- You don't need to worry about an entire wave of people being trained or the potential fall-out from train-me junkies
- You can test the waters by comparing our program with your internal training, great benchmarking!
- Deliver projects with clear financial benefits
- Resolve long standing process issues
- Establish a value focused approach to work and problem solving

What are the SBTI Lean Six Sigma Training Public open enrollment programs?
These are SBTI Lean Six Sigma Methodology programs available for open enrollment which can lead to Black Belt certification and Green Belt certification. SBTI is pleased to offer our world-class public Lean Six Sigma training in these two industry-tailored curriculums:
Lean Six Sigma for Operations
Lean Six Sigma for Service and Transactional Businesses
Both offerings represent the best and most robust Lean and Six Sigma tool training for Green Belts and Black Belts in the business.
SBTI marries the DMAIC Six Sigma methodology with Lean tools in a common sense and seamless way. As a result, trainees master a Lean Six Sigma methodology that is a single, unified approach to performance improvement.
The Lean Six Sigma tools covered include but are not limited to:
5S, Measurement Systems Analysis, Capability Analysis, SPC Control Charts, FMEA, DOE, Cause and Effects Matrix, Process Maps, Value Stream Maps, Kan-Ban, Spaghetti Diagrams, Control Plans and more !
SBTI Operations and Transactional Lean Six Sigma courses are exceptionally interactive. Hands-on Lean simulation is combined with multiple project simulations and other interactive learning activities. Lean Six Sigma training, then, engages candidates as an intellectual and practical experience.
SBTI strongly recommends that each candidate have a Charted Project prior to the first week of training. A first draft of the Charter is required in advance if the candidate is seeking certification. Project coaching and mentoring takes place throughout training and represents a critical part of learning. By the time the candidate achieves Lean Six Sigma certification; successful project completion will have enabled future success.
SBTI Black Belts lead high impact process improvement projects through our Lean Six Sigma training methodology (DMAIC). Black Belt candidates acquire mastery of basic and advanced Lean and Six Sigma quality tools, proficiency in advanced statistics, and expertise in the technical aspects of process improvement. Black Belts will be capable of coaching and facilitating the advanced tools for teams and individuals.
Lean Six Sigma in Operations:
SBTI capitalizes on its decade-long experience with top operational industries to provide cutting-edge Lean Six Sigma training. SBTI’s Lean Six Sigma tool training provides companies with the human talent they need to succeed in a global economy. These classes are offered throughout the year. As a rule they are conducted in San Marcos, TX. Please contact Bill Zinkgraf at bzinkgraf@sbtimail.com or (888) 752.7070 for more information.
