A Green Belt Program for Operations and Company Business Personnel
SBTI's WebGB™ program is a distance-learning Green Belt (GB) training program, with live instructors and WebEx™- enabled presentation and discussion. The SBTI WebGB™ program takes place in 4 sessions over a period of four months and each class is limited in size to 15 students. Students will attend in half-days for each of the four weeks, with exercises led by the instructor. All candidates must have a green belt project before they can attend training, and key tool-use deliverables are due before each session. The program is based on and includes free of charge SBTI's XLGB™ toolkit in Excel, a $100 value. Students will need a project team and access to a PC with Microsoft Office installed for application of the tools.
By using the SBTI XLGB™ Toolkit, you can realize lower costs, improved use, and increased acceptance in these key tools:
Process Mapping
FMEA
Graphical Analysis
Control Plans
Statistical Analysis
Measurement Systems Analysis
Basic DOEs
A program matched to the needs of Business People
Often it is impossible for critical people in your organization to devote an entire week for training in Six Sigma. The SBTI WebGB™ program in half-day sessions allows busy people to continue key activities while attending a distance-learning program. No extended travel away from the office or home is necessary, facilitating attendance to each session.
Significant Savings Over classroom training
Live classroom-style training is often quite costly in terms of instructor fees, classroom reservations, meals, hotel, rental cars and airfare. The SBTI WebGB™ program requires students to have a high-speed Internet connection, a phone line and access to a PC with MS Office. A hands-free telephone connection is very desirable. This approach saves over 75% of the cost of classroom training. Students will log-in to each WebEx™ session over the internet and have live discussions with the instructor and other students. They will participate in simulated and a few hands on exercises to practice what they have learned. Each student will also attend an e-learning overview or may elect to take make up sessions in e-learning at their convenience.
