Director of Marketing
DESCRIPTION
The Director of Marketing will lead the SBTI Global Marketing
effort by creating, implementing and maintaining SBTI’s
global marketing plan(s). The candidate will manage lead generation,
promotions, conferences, public appearances and public relations
to generate a strong pull for SBTI services in the form of a healthy
new business opportunity pipeline.
The role will be challenging, demanding, creative, and diverse
but is essential to the future success of the business.

RESPONSIBILITIES
The following are essential job responsibilities:
- Developing and implementing the overall marketing strategy and
marketing plan
- Determine and identify the priority market target
segments for SBTI to compete in o Determine segment wants and
needs in order to identify products, services, and experience
to leverage o Create launch plan for new products and services
for target segment
- Oversee SBTI's marketing policies, objectives
and initiatives
- Review changes to the marketplace/industry and
adjust plan accordingly
- Create and maintain a strong clear SBTI
brand
- Build and manage marketing department budget and personnel
- Direct and control the content and appearance of the web site
and marketing materials o Establish the process of web updates
and changes collaboratively with VP of Technology and IT Team
- Work collaboratively with VP of Technology to determine SBTI
publication plans (i.e. books, articles, web materials, pod casts)
- Track marketing investments and the return on these investments
to maximize new business revenue per year; Minimize Sales expenses
EXPECTATIONS
- Be a key team member to deliver SBTI revenue growth
of 15-20% per year
SKILLS REQUIRED
| Minimum Education: |
Bachelor’s Degree required; MBA preferred;
Relevant experience in a Lean and/or Six Sigma program(s)
or deployment(s). |
| Minimum Experience: |
7-10 years of experience in the field; Able to demonstrate
metrics of revenue generation; Experience with Services Marketing,
ideally professional or financial services; Experience with
business-to-business marketing and marketing communications;
Experience with Sales in business-to-business, preferably
with a multi-level sale of a service; Experience working with
Public Relations/earned media to craft message and delivery |

manage and report against a budget and other financial measures;
Ability to perform effectively in public speaking; Skilled

| Compensation: |
A combination of base salary plus an incentive based on
new business revenue and gross margin targets. |
| Working Conditions: |
Willing and able to travel as needed both nationally and
internationally up to 50% of time; Able to and willing to
seek input and collaboration with others; Reports directly
to President. |
