Our Service to the Engineering Marketplace
SBTI trains and consults in Design for Six Sigma, or DFSS, which provides a robust process so that the engineer can become an integral member of the business team that commercializes great products.
What’s The Problem?
There’s incredible breadth to the Engineering marketplace, Wikipedia currently lists 44 separate subcategories and new ones will emerge as our society becomes more complex and our knowledge base broadens. Whether it’s biomedical, chemical, civil, electrical, software, environmental, mechanical or any other discipline, the depth and focus needed of the technical engineering curricula to adequately prepare a mathematical and technological foundation is overwhelming to a vast cross section of people in the business world. Yet, many of these engineers will eventually find themselves at the forefront of customer interactions where they’ll have to translate customer wants and desires into marketable products. Most are not prepared to adequately function in this capacity and they learn on the fly.
